Volunteers & Interns
We are looking for volunteers and interns! (Only Dutch speakers)
Do you love animals, are you not afraid of getting dirty and sweaty and can you come to Bonaire for at least 6 weeks? You may want to help us as a volunteer or intern!
We are a recognized training company and affiliated with the Cooperation Organization Vocational Education Business Life SBB . Our number is affiliated under number SBB: 100197031.
What do we ask of you:
You are between 18 and 50 years old (Fit & in good health).
You can come and help us for at least 6 weeks, because it takes time to settle in and to let the donkeys get used to you.
You are willing to help out 5 days a week, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
You are a non-smoker, not only because of the fire hazard in our park, but also for the well-being of our other employees.
You pay your travel costs to Bonaire, your insurance and your daily groceries yourself.
You do not need to have any experience in animal care, but you do of course like donkeys and be willing to learn and give your all.
You speak English, so you can also speak to our non-Dutch-speaking visitors.
What do we offer you:

A special job, where you not only help to take care of our hundreds (more than 800!) Donkeys, but also receive tourists and ensure that our park goes on and on.

Free accommodation in the middle of our donkey park. A simple but comfortable house with its own sanitary facilities, kitchenette, inventory, etc.

Possibility to come in pairs, if you have a friend who also wants to work as a volunteer or intern.
